Yes it does, its fully red with the head hump.Very gorgeous fish,I was trying to get the fish store,to put a deposit down for me over the phone, but they refused to do it.Even I told them I am from illinois and wont beable to make it there until Saturday. So apparently they only hold onto it the day you call to come there.

Well it sounds like its nice. If you get it post pics of it Flowerhorn Section for the others to.

Well since its pretty big,how well would it get along with my 9 inch Tiger Oscar,6 inch Jack Dempsey,4 inch Green terror and Severum?I do have a 125 gallon fish tank set up now and its the 72x18x whatever height.

Ah I see,hm it is very risky indeed, but I did have a Jaguar who was suppose to be the most aggressive one in the tank that was 7 inches,I had to get rid of it,due to the Oscar beating it up,even though the Jaguar beat up my JD and the other 2.So I can only imagine what will go on with a Flowerhorn now.Should I possible start out with a smaller one, instead of a 8 inch fh?

That is true, its always a 50 50 chance it seems with any fish.I am just surprised I have seen people home a flowerhorn with a Oscar before and their tank wasn't as huge as mine.

You're running out of room in that 125. Umbees and Festae can be both aggressive and large as adults. Female Festae are smaller than males but even they can be aggressive, sometimes more so than males. But a female would be your best option of the two. You will be taking a chance with any of these two choices, especially if you buy them at 6" or more. If I were you I would stick to a cichlid that doesn't grow quite as large. A Texas may work better, but again you may run into aggression problems. It all depends on the temperment of each individual fish though.

if the fish isnt at least 300 at 4 inches it will never be a good flowerhorn. Honestly not even trying to be rude but at that size and its only 89 dollars it prob should have been fish food a longtime ago.
