Looks like a female....i may be wrong though....black i think he is little stressed and needs time to get settled.Its a way to add a mirror to excite the fish..inorder to boost hump development...is what I have heard...but i would say..its better not to do that as well as leaving other fish with it, as it will stress the fish.Its an Fh and its better to be kept single and not to mess.You can boost its colour and hump development by feeding quality diet and not live fish.

To me it also looks like a trimac. Its often confused with FH.I have heard FH being hybrid also carry genes frm trimac.Here is a pic of a trimac chichlid.

very well could have some trimac in him but i got him indentified by the place i bought him from today he is a parrot hybrid and a male they also had one of the same breed of him it looked great good colors too

Hi thats great then, even I am looking forward for further updates and curious to see how he pumps up.And I may be wrong that it is a female.
