Hello. . .

I just want to know why my Kamfa is so malevolent.

these are the things he is been doing recently

1. He thrusts the air line tubing away from its initial position. Even though it is attached with a suction cap.

2. He nips the filter at times.

3. Whenever he gets hungry or needs attention he jumps out of the water and makes a splash sound to get my attention ( Tank is tightly closed)

4. When ever i put my hand in the tank to put back the airline tubing and other things he man handles, he chases my hand and nips at them.I even noticed recently he has teeth. Now onder that left a few light marks on my palm when he bit me.:WHOA:

5. If i put my hand outside the tank he tries to bite em through the glass !!!

:screwy:

6. I have noticed his colors become even more darker and very attractive when i play with him like moving my hand on the glass and coordinating his movement.

I am just :screwy: or is this atleast normal ?

and he eats like a pig and has no health issues.

If your flowerhorn was NOT doing all those you stated, THEN it could be something abnormal!! Otherwise it is doing just fine......

Quite normal. Yes, they get very aggressive and will bite your hand. How big is he?

I would love to see a pic of him.

His double row seems to be fading off, I think it's time to buy Hai Feng FH flowerlines food. Lots of good results with that for bringing out the flowerlines back and not having it fade away. If you were to take it to compete, any flowerlines that fades like that can cut your points off a whole lot. Everything matters...pearls, kok, body structure, coloration, flowerlines, and health.
