with fh you need to feed them high quality food or they won't turn out looking good...also a big kok is not always the case cause it might lack in the long finnage, pearly scales etc....so with fh's it depends on what you like about them....that's why they made the FH

try hikari gold pellets...along with market shrimp, change it up and feed them a variety of good stuff...even mussels

The dad of the baby FH looks good. And yes you will need to divide them if you get more then one. Either get 2 divider and divide them in the tank or put them in seperate tanks. They will need a divider from when babys to adults since FH are hella agressive and territorial.
