Their are 4 types of flowerhorns.
1. GM ( Malau )
2. ZZ
3. Kamfa
4. JK

Usually, the GM or Golden Monkey strain is the most expensive because it is more rare and usually has better qualities in the strain. But, each individual fish is priced on its own merit. A masterpiece is expensive no matter what strain it is. A low quality fish is cheaper no matter what strain it is. The original 4 types are being blurred somewhat since people are breeding them. For instance, a Kamfa X GM is called a Kamfamalau.

Flowerhorns are not vor everybody and there is a lot of dedication and care needed to bring out their full potential. My brother moved out to Kansas and I was going to send him some Thai Frys and I could send him some extra if your willing to split shipping and pick up from him. They are cheap $5 and you can get a couple then as they grow pick a couple you want to grow out then resell locally.

i would never risk buyin small flower horns smaller then 4in the guy prob just got those for free and hes saying those are the pairs spawn, i would just buy a bigger set of FH's.
