Umm Ya, I have one bag washing right now. But it doesn't look like the end is near. Ive read i should wash it for a good hour and then add it to my tank. And slowly add water into it and if it clouds just let it settle back down. This is for a little nano and a 60g right now any tip or links to help me out thanks.

I dump it in straight, no rinsing, and run a hydro 5 sponge in the water air driven. In 2 hours I remove the sponge, and replace with a new one (the old one gets rinsed for another day), and then let that one go overnight. The next morning I remove the sponge, and place the first one back in. Leave this sit for 12 more hours, and you won't have dirty water.

Ill check them out tomorrow, sounds like a really good plan... What about The Filter? should i run it to or leave it to the Sponge? An one more thing do they sell the extra sponges?

Hydro 5 sponges are so cheap, I just buy the full setup. I don't run my power filters while doing this process, as it just clogs them, and can damage the pump.

You can either rinse for a long time to get rid of the dust(I mean a really long time) or do the above mentioned ideas or.....

When filling up the tank make sure to put a plate in the 60 gallon and run water onto the plate and let it gently overflow that......patience is the key here...low water flow...

In the nano...well do the same thing but nano sized!

If you fill slow and have minimal disturbance then within a week or two, the bacteria will have coated it and it will not cloud as much.

flourite takes for ever to rinse it is just as bad as crushed coral. You can add it to a bucket and put a hose at the bottom and overflow the bucket and all the dust should come offf but it takes forever!

My LFS has another brand no Hydros, But from what she told me it sounded the same... i did find one store that had it but it was #4 ...And wants 15 for it EK ill just get 2 from ebay. Good thing for my 4outlit air pump

I added to bag in the tank and now running 2 sponge filters... It slowly cleaning up but i can still see a layer on the gravel... how do i remove that? just vac an inch off the gravel.

update i have ran this for a week... The water is clearing up... im running two xy-380 sponge filters. But i have a problem... there is a layer of gray guk on the gravel. How do i go about doing that?

Another thing is i cant see the bottom to level it off or give it any style... so i dont see the end to this... once it gone im going to have to go back into the tank to level and add plants and all that... and that will bring all the dust back up.

It is better to plant the plants in the substrate before adding water, then use a pan to fill the tank, and let it sit until clear. The big sponges, like the hydros, will clear up the water faster than anything else you can get.
