Fluval aquasky vs other lights for 75 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a fluval planted 3.0 and there is a button on top of light on the opposite side of the power chord plug in. It's got a lit up power sign on it when the light is on.

I'd assume the new aquaskys have the same button, but maybe not?

I guess I may have one of the earlier Fluval planted LED models. Have had it for 5 years or so. If they have fixed the app and buttons, then my criticism may be outdated.
This is the button I am talking about - fluval had to make a video to explain (which I think is BS- the button is a terrible design, half the time doesn't work no matter how you touch it. Their response here is bad customer service IMO)

I went on Amazon and could not find any brand names. I found a Beamworks for $50 for a 48". Is it worth $50 or should I look elsewhere?

It has blue tint to it. Finnex stingray is better and should be around $80. You can get aquasky at petsmart on sale for 120 and can use 25% coupon with it to bring price down to $90 which is a steal for light priced at $150. Aquasky also has very good build quality and warranty.
