Will be getting back into corals very soon, ended up bringing back the puffer as it wouldn’t grind it’s teeth on the snails ??‍♂ I upgraded to the Eheim compaction 1000 pump for improved filtration while also using Chemi-Pure to help with phosphates.

Also had the big female clown find that ridiculously tiny opening in the front and jump so I had to get a new one lol

last pic is a store I was just at, had to be the nicest saltwater tank I’ve ever seen in person by far

Are these spaghetti worms? Never seen them moving about before. Both are definitely moving.

First one looks more like a dorvilleidae if I’m correct. It will have small tentacles on its head similar to a bobbit. Or a bristle (but I don’t believe they go on glass).
I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like the second one…might be best just to remove.

Removed. Lol. The thing had traveled about 5 inches in 10 minutes along the glass. So many weird little critters just appear in the salt tanks.

Added a few new coral and rearranged the rocks. I think from here I will just let the rest of the corals fill in the spots. Might take a few years but kind of cool watching them grow.

I admire your restraint!
All beautiful corals!
Those clove polyps will grow like a weed!

Going to the well of knowledge yet again. Today I looked at one of my palys and saw a single tentacle extending from each center. Never seen this before and can’t find anything on line about it.

If it’s coming from the mouth, it’s quite likely poop. Kinda weird they are doing it all at once though.

So what causes these corals to extend their sweepers. Lately this one has had the sweepers out about 4 inches. And for a week or so my chalice was about the same. Neither are particularly close to another coral 6891C29C-F5C9-4F86-81F1-41C561515EB8.jpeg71019EDA-EF3C-4751-88B9-4E7A150933A8.jpeg
