fluval fx5 canister filter

I cant really attest for the tape because I got it, I was like a kid in a cander store and just ripped into it...

But I did inspect all the parts and everything was definately unused...and all the parts were there.

I ended up using the ehiem substrate pro (2 L) and the 100% polyester (pillow stuffing) that I got from Michaels MJ Designs.

So far so good.

I do remember the box was kinda beat up alittle but that was just from shipping I assume.

I would definately order another one from this guy if I had a need.

What a small world. I just sent an email to them to make sure the filter listed (fx5) was a "new in box" filter. I known that the ad. says NEW, but I've heard unless it's specifically says "new in box" it might not be, I know, sounds dumb, but $1 or $200 just can't take any chances. Did yours appear to still have the original tape over the lid & seem as new as it would from a store? I assume so since you didn't mention anything going wrong w/ the transaction. Man are prices just blowin up or what WOW, that's why I want in on this ASAP. Thanks a $$$$$$$ :) :) :)

I've has mine running on my 180 since last October. I love it. Never had any problems. Always starts run without any of that priming crap that you have to do with some.
 
Yes sir looks like it's time for a bigger tank, LOL. Or to start up your own ebay store. How much are you selling them for? or ya just hordin'em. Quite the investment there :) :) :) now the "hard" part, fillin those beast's :grinno: What are you/did you to fill them them w/?
