I got home from a service call at work to find a river coming out of my fishrooms. The flex tubing on the inlet hose of the FX5 came off of its mounting clip. There was only 2" of water left in the 650gal. The rest is now promoting the growth of my yard weeds.
I started draining the 400gal storage tank and ran to the store for some large zip-ties. I zip-tied the return hose to the mounting clip and zip-tied the whole assembly to the PVC outlet from the bead filter.

ANYONE WITH A FLUVAL FX5... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING NYLON ZIP-TIES TO ENSURE THE FLEX HOSE REMAINS SECURED TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oddball, what fish did you have in there?

I have a pair of Mbu puffers, a pair of NGTs, and a few bottom fish I was holding there temporarily. Of course, I lost all the bottom fish. The mbus and NGTs look peeved but OK.
