I am planning a 1000gal plywood tank in the next year or 2 and my biggest fear is that it will be too big and too much for me......leading to burnout and loss of interest
Focus in the hobby - it's easy to lose it.

Interesting. I'd think that bigger would be ok for me, i.e. a 1000 gallon tank i would want, but 10, 100 gallon tanks would be far too much.
I had a 180 monster, 125 salt and 90 south American. Burnt out sold all... Got a 25 salt... Pain in the rear. Sold. Had nothing for a year. Beta for 6 months. Back to a 55. now.
