hi hope all are dandy:D

i was just wondering what live 'treats' i could feed my 2inch oscar and 2.5-3 inch GT? (not normal treats e.g. bloodworm brineshrimp ect, something a bit more fun, on the insect side of things) i was thinking mealworms? i got some shrimp 2 days ago but they are just too big for them to eat...at the minute *evil laugh*. what do you feed yours, or did when they were that size?

thanks, any suggestions greatfully apreciated
Matt

Convict fry, small garden worms, crickets.

red wigglers or nightcrawlers - buy a pair of scissors that you use ONLY for cutting up worms. your family will appreciate it.

lol thanks for the advice!!:D did you learn the hard way?

thanks for the ideas. what size should i try and aim to get the foods? is 1 inch too long? thinking about it, this is the question i really need answering i can find foods, or cut thm up to make the right size but what is the best size food for a 2.5-3inch GT and a 2inch oscar?

thanks
Matt

Crickets, snails, moths and worms.

Judge the size of the treat accordingly. You should be able to size up their mouths and the food by eye.

O.K thanks.

just wondering if there was some form of rule e.g. if a fish is 3inch, it can take a 1inch mealworm.

thanks,
Matt
