First off I would like to say sorry if I'm postng in the wrong area of the forums, it's my first day on mfk.

I would like to know what do you Oscar cichlid owners feed your oscars besides pellets and worms? I'm looking for major growth and I have mine in a 65g at about 4in.

Oscars eat anything.

For good growth, water change, water change, water change. Clean water and lots of it!

You can feed your Oscar various diet like Frozen foods, Krill, brineshrimp, silversides, bloodworms. And you can feed crickets(Store) mealworms, well they will eat anything. Stay away from feeder fish

I was never really a big feeder fish person, but thanx guys because rite now I do change his water 2x a week and he eats pellets and sometimes my wife throws in some frozen shrimp. But tomorrow I think I'm gonna get some bloodworms and some crickets or meal worms.

Hey how about fish pieces? I'm ready to order tomorrow from an online super market called "fresh direct" and they have a whole fish chopped up in pieces, think I could try that?

My juvenille red tiger oscar named bruce's favourite food is raw salmon. I give it to him as an occasional treat and he LOVES it. he also likes to eat prawn but he really likes tetra colour enhancing cichlid sticks. a lot of people say Tetra fish food is not very good, but i find that bruce really likes it.

My Oscar went from a 150g to a 65g because my other tank cracked on me, but he got use to his new home pretty quick now he jumps every time he sees me and hits the hood.
