This one shows the whole tank so you can sort of get an idea of scale. The other glowing eyes in the tank are my juvenile Murray Cod and 2 Angels

Wow nice big bala sharks! Never seen them that big. But they remind of "milkfish" aka "bangus" in my native language, Filipino. Makes me want to fry them and eat them with a hot bowl of rice!!!

They were called tricolors because the fins of large healthy ones take on a nice amber color, they need a lot of room and are far less skittish in a shoal of at least five.

biggest bala i have ever seen was a donation to a LFS. it was probably 10".
my first set of balas got to about 6" before my water chemistry went crazy
and they died
