A LITTLE GUN HISTORY
SWITZERLAND ISSUES EVERY HOUSEHOLD A GUN!

SWITZERLAND 'S GOVERNMENT TRAINS EVERY ADULT THEY ISSUE A RIFLE.

SWITZERLAND HAS THE LOWEST GUN RELATED CRIME RATE OF ANY
CIVILIZED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!

so are you suggesting that , as in Switzerland, every male does compulsory military service? conscription was abolished in the US in 1973
This would better conform to the 2nd amendment tho( organized militia)

:)
the rest of your post is selective historically inaccurate propaganda.
The UK has always had gun control, tell me about the massacres there

conscription was abolished in the US in 1973
No it wasn't, there is no not prohibition against the draft, though we are not actively using it now. The selective service is still in place to be able to easily resume it if needed.

Even during the draft selected individuals (who's number came up) were called, not every one showing up in green when they turn of age.

Supposedly Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto said. "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."

The Germans and Japanese handed guns out to civilians. The meaning of that quote has been argued, and no consensus has been reached. Was it he though every American was armed or that America had a large enough stock pile that they could easily arm every civilian.

Anybody remember Archie Bunker's televised monologue on the subject?? Pure comedy!! Pass out the pistols!!!

Um bloody Sunday? Here is a comprehensive though not complete list.

umm, close but no cigar
14 civilians killed on Bloody Sunday in Ireland hardly equates with Pol Pot/Cambodia or Stalin or Hitler does it? or the use of agent orange or carpet bombing or napalm in N.Vietnam by the US acting as an imperial force. or should we therefore also include May 4th 1970, Kent State? No-one is innocent (to quote the Pistols)
also on your list , all the IRA killings, with guns and bombs they couldn't get because of gun control, coincidentally financed by the kind folks in the USA ( who said the US doesn;t sponsor terrorists?)

Pol Pot/Cambodia or Stalin or Hitler does it
You asked about massacres in the UK, not a comparative analysis of body counts. But to add to the point the other two mentioned had strict gun control btw.

or the use of agent orange or carpet bombing or napalm in N.Vietnam by the US acting as an imperial force.
You are a member of the SDS aren't you? Vietnam was not a good idea but we sure as hell were not empire building.

all the IRA killings, with guns and bombs they couldn't get because of gun control
Right so gun control worked so great there. If there is enough desire and enough money banning something has no effect.

coincidentally financed by the kind folks in the USA
Are we conflating private and public? Private groups did fund the IRA but the Feds did not.
