Will it work, for how long then. In the future i will get rid of 2 0r 3 os.

5x Oscars 4"
1x Buttikoferi 4"
1x Midas
1x Walking Catfish 10"
1x Lima Shovelnose 10"

oh man your O's are gonna get killed mate if what i have read about butti's is right. then the catfish then the midas and butti will fight if the midas is big enough but the butti will probably win, if what ive read is right. i think i remember it saying buttis start getting nasty at around the 6-8" mark when they assert themselves and evrything dies except dovii's.
I may be wrong and someone will tell me im very wrong, i really hope im wrong and im confusing it with another fish. Best of luck to you with this one.

The Oscars are going to get beat up pretty bad. I doubt even the midas and butti will tolerate each other once they get full size. 1 or 2 O's is fine, but not with aggressive tankmates like those.

now depending on the width of the tank u can maybe go with 3 Os when mature, and maybe a couple of same sexed cons if u dont want bahbys and a male JD or 2 and if theres enough room then a texas.. thats what id do

I don't think that would work. If aggression wasn't an issue, which I think it would be, there would be a ton of water changes to keep the nitrates down.

I think u could o 3 O's And depending on how big those other two catfish get u might be able to keep one, If i am not mistaken a 100 standard deminsions are 48"x18"xlike 30"?
But with 3 O's u need alot of Filtration & 30% WC once aweek IMO.
Good luck

I used to keep oscars in my 150g and one day i went to a local shop and saw a Buttikoferi in there and thought it looked real nice so i bought it and took it home.
30 mins later i had just made it back to the store in time to return it before they closed.
Now i love all animals and especially fish but if they had been shut when i got there i would have mushed it up in a plastic bag and spooned it under the door for them to find when they got in in the morning.
Anyway, on top of the full cash refund i also got free melafix and stress coat so that the almost life threating wounds on my 2 guys where kept under controll and healed properly...

All this within 1hr ish..
The Buttikoferi was only in the tank for about 2 mins before it went absolutely murder mad and it was only 6"ish where as my o`s were about a foot each..

I wouldn`t ever try to mix them with anything again except maybe my dog.. :irked:

You could keep 2 o's or 1 butti or 1 Midas.Butti & Midas are to agressive to keep with anything in that size tank.No more than 2 O,s at adult size and that's with good filteration and 35-50% wkly water changes

Are you kidding me? I suggest you stop giving advice because you're seriously misleading people with poor information and you're spitting it out on a regular basis now.

That setup isn't going to last very long at all, at the current sizes I'd give it about 3 months before feces starts hitting the fan. I agree with fishluvr12; unless you want a solo 'Wet Pet', 2 Oscars is as much as you're going to be able to keep in that tank once they reach full size.
