dude would u stop telling me im wrong when in fact ive been doing pretty good with the advises:irked:!

Unless I'm reading this wrong, you're giving advice to put 3 Oscars, 2 Female Convicts, 2 Jack Dempseys and maybe a Texas in a 100Gallon aquarium.

That is not 'pretty good'.

I wouldn't do more than one O in a 100g. let them grow out to about 6 or 7 inches and pick out your favorite. I'd keep him with a GT and maybe a couple firemouths to clean up scraps.

just saw the entire original post. I don't know much about the cats, but assume they both will get much bigger than the 10". scratch the firemouths, they'll get eaten. Keep only one oscar, three fish well over a foot might be about as much as a 100g can handle.

why get fish when you know youre going to have to get rid of them? idk, kind of strange.
id say 2 Os in the 100 if you had proper filtration and kept up with the water changes.

Are you kidding me? I suggest you stop giving advice because you're seriously misleading people with poor information and you're spitting it out on a regular basis now.

That setup isn't going to last very long at all, at the current sizes I'd give it about 3 months before feces starts hitting the fan. I agree with fishluvr12; unless you want a solo 'Wet Pet', 2 Oscars is as much as you're going to be able to keep in that tank once they reach full size.

:iagree: Completely!!!

i agree with japes...this noob doesn't know what he is saying...all those fish will not survive/be comfortable in a 100g tank...they will all be fighting for space in the tank

I got some fish, i am making a thread this evening.

i have to agree with japes, you only have room for 2 oscars and maybe another mid size tankmate(in the 6-8" range)

I got
1x Oscar 9"
1x Midas 4"
1x Red Parrot 5"
2x Parachromis Dovii Females 5"

Dont worry about the dovii's, even the midas is'nt having his ass kicked.
Oh i got one question.
Can i add a 6" O or should i rather get a bigger one so he wont get beaten up?

Hey CB, I think he is right. From what I know on MFK you have never had a tank larger than a 29 gal. Maybe you shouldn't give advice about a topic like this. Try to stick to topics that you have experience with. Just a little advice.

And oh yeah, we're off topic with this.
