Malabaricus will bully and possibly kill the aimara at that timid juvenile size. Best to add some dithers or separate before you learn the hard way.

Good looking fish though.

The malas are in their own tank now......both eating really well. Noticed some scales missing on one of them.
As for the aimara, it's alone for now, has yet to see him eat but he has a belly, probably was eating when I was away...... ??

Updates: one of the malas did not make it but other than that they are doing really good, aimara is putting on some red and yellow tinge....
