for those who dont like pitbulls !!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If its not the dogs that are to blame, then why are they put down and not the owners?

Your question is illogical. Would you actually put down a human being when the law is against it unless the human performed a heinous crime equating to capital punishment of death (if applicable in some areas)?

There are idiots out there who will stop at nothing but continue to spread around how much they think they understand about pitbulls when they don't. There are organizations that continue to blanket the bully breeds and euthanize them even without concrete proof the dogs did something wrong to warrant euthanasia.

What is it you are trying to prove exactly, Brian?

Yes, this is the answer. Unfortunately, we have idiots around who think owning these breeds is simple and cool.

Yet there are many here that argue against this, stating "the breed is getting a bum rep". If one was really interested in promoting the breed, seems to me that you'd be in favor of steps to ensure responsiblen rightful ownership.

Not trying to prove anything. Just stating my opinion to others remarks. Or is this against tos?

Yes, and why not? This should be done in the first place before an amateur sets sight on getting a dog, regardless of breed. He has to understand why a dog bites, why the dog feels threatened, etc. He should not get one because he feels like, "Wow! A pitbull will make me awesome/fearsome in the neighborhood. Bwahaha!" Or some girl saying, "Oh, a chihuahua! How cute! Must have one and I'll be the envy in my society!"

Just recently, I brought along my chihuahua for a walk in the park. A couple approached us and asked if they can touch him but the girl added she is nervous with chis. She clearly demonstrated it when she reached for the chi with shaking hands. The chi was pissed off and nearly bit her. I told her not to get her nerves so obvious. Her bf on the other hand enjoyed touching the chi and the chi happily accepted it. It was the girl's fear that provoked the chi to bite.

I didn't say anything about the TOS. I wasn't getting your point in this argument.

That be great, of coarse when things go bad with a chi, people don't generally end up dead or maimed as is the case with the larger breeds. Have to assess the potential risk with each breed. You need to be able to pass a test to drive a car. Outa have to do the same to own an animal, the bigger the risk the more stringent the test.

No she has no problem with pets, just the general rule in the household bcame that your face never gets near the animal, no matter who or what the case.

Remember one thing... there is a risk with everything.. even eating fresh spinach.......... there are things that happen.. but most of the time it is a happy ending...
