For those who say that rtc can't eat pleco....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for sharing. It's helpful.

But who said they can't? RTCs in the wild have been found with all kinds of critters in their tummies, not only fish and crustaceans but also reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals. Their mouth and stomach lining is tough and made to handle the spiniest meals. They break off pectoral and dorsal spines too should they need to.

Surely a spiny pleco is unpleasant to swallow versus say a smooth dorado but it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I hear yah. Opinions and experiences and knowledge varies among keepers. One (myself included) needs to know which sources to trust and how much to trust and on what to trust and on what to question ... and still no one is infallible.

Is that a galaxy pleco? Cuz that wouldn't be too expensive, like $50. How expensive is that meal? Feel free to ignore.

I sure hope someone learned from this
I have, for one. Surely Duckbootz, for two. :D
