i left a fish to float in the morning,
then at around midnight i remembered about it.
it was an erythrinus though.

Ive done that before. once i forgot a bag of FREE clown loaches. I still kick myself in the butt for that

nope... im more of a tempshock kinda guy cuz i float them for like 3 minutes then just cant help myself... however i usuially know what im bringin home and what temps they like and i note what temp the lfs has them at so its never really an issue

lol, yeah I can't help myself either. I am too anxious to ever forget about fish in the bag. It's actually a pain to wait to get them out of there.

i forgot about a bigger goldfish, in a bag for over 18 hours. im a bagging champ though and he made it just fine.

I´ve never forgot fish but once I forgot to put back a package of frozen bloodworms in the fridge when I feed the fish before the night. No need to tell that I woke up to a terrible smell
