In the past when I've posted pics of my setup, a lot of people ask me about the gravel.

It seems to be unique, it's symetrical, uniform in color with slight shade variances, and it's just looks gooood!

I thought the only place I'd find it was at this secret LFS my friend told me about, but they only had two bags and I haven't found more since, so when people asked me where to get it, I couldn't tell them.

BUT, I found a great source today! Jeboxfiddy, a member here on MFK works at a Jebo warehouse in Monterey Park SoCal, and Jebo carries this cool gravel as well as a lot of other useful aquarium equipment for great prices.

Below are some pics of the gravel, and the contact info for Chris, as well as a link to the Jebo website of his warehouse so you can see what they carry and just call him for prices and to arrage pick-up or shipping.

I hope this helps out the people that wanted to find the gravel I have in my tank. :)

Don't call the warehouse, contact jeboxfiddy (Chris), to talk about pricing and to arrange pick-up and shipping.

I used to have the same gravel in my 180 before I made the tank barebottom.

I think so too, so do a lot of other people. I was tired of the typical course brown gravels at LFS, and hated the epoxy coated kind that if it cracks, shows a plain white inside.

Then I found this stuff and it's perfect.

Where do you live bro? I think this type of gravel is more common in asia, since the companies the produce them are over there, so it's rare here in the states unless you get it from Jebo, or your LFS imports their stuff.

Most places carry the expoxy coated stuff. I hate those gravels.

The LFS where I work gets it off an importer I think, its not Jebo branded though.

Wow, that really is some nice looking rock! How big is that tank and how many pounds do you have in there?

Is it called 'Dreaming Sand'? That was the brand on the large 20lb. bags I originally got.

The bags from Jebo are small 5lb. bags, and there's no label, just instructions lol, but it's the same exact stuff, and you can ask for a bag that has 10 of these 5lb. bags of gravel, and that 50lb. bag I picked up was cheaper than the 40lb.s I bought earlier this year:

The tank is 120g 4'x2'x'2, In those pics I only used 40lbs of this gravel, today I added 15lbs. of it, and saving the other 35lb.s I have for future setups, but I can always hit up Chris and get more, that's the best part.

They ship too.
