Find out where they are located and post it. Maybe somebody who lives close can check them out. If they do decent work this vendor would be an asset to us all. Even if the seams are a little bubbly, it still might be worth the price.

Haha umm no, no where in your first post did I see you suggest you could do it, but instead you questioned if it was even possible. Sure I'll agree with you that it's easier to move acrylic, but as to who wants to round up friends to move a tank? I would and so do they, if it's more money in our pocket for fishCamphilophus;2086582; said:I was making the point of why acrylic is better than glass. Sure you can do it, but who wants to round up 8 of their friends to help them move a tank.
Tigerdat;2086251; said:I doubt I would buy one of his tanks, first off they cost too much. I just purchased a 400 gallon tank that was $1700 its 120x32x24 his 120x24x24 $1909 $209 more and its a smaller tank and like others have said he has no pictures of his work. Maybe if he was local I would take a look at his work and then decide if I would buy a tank from him. But I doubt I would have a tank shipped to me with out seeing his work. Lastly I would probably just buy a Tru Vu tank. There is a LFS that sell Tru Vu tanks for $1 over cost, they do this to bring in new customers. Although my 400 gallon tank is made by World Marine.
