Do you know how to read? Find the article, it was a 50.

Do i see a link to the article, How can I see if it was a 50 if I don't know where the article is....

Give me a moment

Look at those holes. I did an extremely rough measurement with my computer and came up with ten feet long from the hogs butt to the tip of his snout. How long and heavy do they say this thing is? I have NEVER read any of the hogzilla stories, but I think I heard from the corner of my ear on the news that it is in fact real. I would like to check my measuring abilities if anyone has a link to any info on "hogzilla"....

Those holes are large! Why would he have any other gun but what was used to create them? Not logical. Pixy and mystix confuse easily but mean no harm :)

Fool, thats a 50cal handgun...also it took a number of shots to bring it down, pigs are pretty tough when it comes to taking a shot.
Do I see any indication stating the weapons caliber size?

I am sure that if you shot the toughest man alive in the limbs or the edges of his abdomen, he would most surely survive. You shoot him in the balls and he is at your mercy for life. Same story with the pig.

Hey, I'm not confused. I'm just little annoyed that someone will jump to conclusions that he's a fool because he didn't see that in fact it was a big gun :irked:

AN 11-year-old boy used a pistol to kill a giant pig that his father says weighed a staggering 476kg and measured 2.74m, from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.

Think of hams as big as car tyres.

If the claims are accurate, Jamison Stone's trophy boar would be bigger than Hogzilla, the famed wild hog that grew to seemingly mythical proportions after being killed in Georgia in 2004.

Hogzilla was originally thought to weigh 453.6kg and measure 3.6m long.

National Geographic experts who unearthed its remains believe the animal actually weighed about 362.8kg and was 2.4m long.

Regardless of the comparison, Jamison is revelling in the attention over his pig.

"It feels really good," Jamison said. "It's a good accomplishment. I probably won't ever kill anything else that big."

Jamison, who killed his first deer at age five, was hunting with father Mike Stone and two guides in east Alabama on May 3.

He said he shot the huge animal eight times with a .50-calibre revolver and chased it for three hours through hilly woods before finishing it off.

Ok then, but next time don't jump to conclusions that he's a fool because he mistakes the gun for a another one.

You acted instantly as if it was a small caliber because its a hand gun. Do research is the message.

WHAT!?!?!?! that's basically saying to do research on everything he looks at...

At a first glance by looking at the shape and colours of the weapon, it looks like some kids lazer tag gun. It turns out that its real (which I knew) and that it is .50 cal according to you. This may be highly likely but how do you think Im suposed to know the caliber of this gun let alone find the damn article?

Why would you let your 5 year old son use live ammunition to kill a beautiful animal such as a deer? Makes me sick to think that he is proud of his accomplishment that he killed a gorgeous, large and potentially rare pig without having second thoughts.
