Bit of a premature celebration there. the treatment seems to have an effect for like 36 hours, then BOOOOOM!!! there back with vengence!!

add some copper coins might kiil your vallis but they will not come back,got some in with my fish and have not seen any for months
 
Really don't want to kill the Vallis and i have a few species of loach, and ya should know that loach don't like copper!

any other suggestions from anyone?
 
If you really have it in for them you could try smooshing the ones that you can find. Although it takes awhile its easier than trying to take them out. I agree on the YOYO loach suggestion, i have four and they eat everysnail. I couldnt keep enough breeding to feed my puffers.
 
Nah mate crushing them would be pointless it would have no impact on the infestation at all. i have tried yoyo loach, khuli, clown, blue botia, chain and another funky lil species. only thing i haven't tried is maybe a puffer (but i have an aussie aro (me's thinkin too risky)) or
there is a cichlid (quite a rare one bit pricey too. only ever seen it once) that eats them and
theres also a pleco called Three beacon pleco, same family as Vampire and grey leporacanthicus Joesilimanus (think its spelt like that).
