OMG BIGRICH545, Congrats on the biggest tank in the east!!! I am excited for you and your family. I can not wait for photos and would like to see this tank when you are ready. If you need help setting up I would lend a hand on sundays when the business is closed. I would love to make a sick video for your fish and set ups. Only an hour from ya with a HD vid ready to make a Bigrich video for MFK and the world wide web..

hello bomber
as ive said before your always welcome to come check things out, but if you want to make a vid, then we will have to coordinate things come spring as we build a spot for the tank and move it into place, :)

Wow, that is amazing! If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost you just in gas to get that tank? My Ram only gets 14 mpg highway MAX without 4,000 pounds behind it. And that durango couldn't be much better!

thats a good question
tolls cost me 120 for the 2 trucks and 2 trailers.
gas costed me 740 dollers for the 2 trucks, it was def cheaper going there than on the way back home,
so thats a total of 860 so far, and i figure 150 for feeding all four people at gas stations along the way
so the total for traveling there and back just to pick up the tank was over 1000 dollers
the tank was slightly more :)

WOOOHOOO!!!!! Gotta love it all!!! The Good, the bad and the SCARY!!! Always makes your heart skip a few beats, when moving aquariums. When the tanks starts sliding and you can't stop it.....heart dropped to your feet...

Then the nerve racking drive and you are just thankful you got it home...You think did I scratch it?? Is it damaged??? You stay on pins and needles because you can't wait to unload it, to see if there is any damage....I think your tank will be fine even after your unloading and trying to get it on the stand:nilly::D:cry:

I decided to put too much water in my turtle tank and then had to move it off a handy cart, to the floor about 4 feet. No problem right??? As I moved the tank, the water made it too heavy, as I try to push the tank back on the cart, the other end of the tank swings off the cart, over and over...I pushed with all my strength and got it back to the cart. WHEW!! Now, time to make it to the floor.

i also forgot the 250 dollars it cost to buy the supplies from home depot for wrapping the tank and the styrofoam and the contact paper and the tarp to cover it
