I forgot they are illegal in NY .
I think at one time they were just so cheap that kids were buying them for $30 and to many were being dumped in shelters,etc

i never saw babies less than $75 in stores here when they were legal to own here. they were around $25 at expos though

I have an 8x3 enclosure that I used to keep reptiles in but I don't have the spare cash to heat the room again.
