what do u have then reptech?

i take it the two of them are females or one female and one male right? you need to be careful of the size difference though.

both females. you want to trade some beardies for the pythons. any sand fire beardies reptech?

Why are you getting rid of them? And do you have the time for a Beardie?

Looks like the wood chips in a bag....called like reptibark, or something.

I don't like the stuff b/c I think it is too dirty. I also heard that it can get under the snake's scales and hurt them. Lastly, I heard mites love that stuff, and it stays too damp.

I could be wrong about that though. I know I wouldn't use it though.

Yeah now that you mention it I remember I stopped using one of the petstore bark brands (NatureBark or ReptiBark, forget which) because it was really dusty and when it got damp it would stain everything red. Ever since I just stuck with big bags of cypress mulch from HD, Lowe's, Walmart whatever. Cheaper and none of the red staining.

yeah that repti bark is expensive. i hear ya on the dusty part.

the way to get rid of the red or dark brown staining is to put them it a 5 gallon bucket first with water for 24 hours drain, repeat and all is good. make sure you let it dry before putting in the enclosure though.

is it a surinam blood. dont like the borneo. 2 bloods. the retic is a yellow head retic from malaysia bought from Bob Clark. The burm is from New England Reptile Dist.
