Fish was dead after the frying pan, just nerves. But it is kinda cruel, especially the scaling and gutting alive. But I do cook lobster and crab alive.
 
Im asian and that disgusts me. I like sushi, but i dont like ALIVE SUSHI!!! I think if you are going to kill a fish, at least kill it more humanely, such as freezing it or something. Not Cook it WHILE ITS ALIVE! Koreans arent into much live fish eating so I dont see much of that. Im thinking more like Japanese. Damn. There are so many threads of live fish eaten thats ITS DISGUSTING!

i don't think its an issue of us asians eating everything. Its the method that some people choose to cook their food that you should be having a problem with.

You cook lobster and crab alive probably because it will make you sick if you kill it first. At least I would hope that's why and that cooking stuff while it's alive isn't your personal preference. Even still you don't keep it alive until you eat all the way through cooking.

Basically the moral of the story. Fishkeepers feel different about fish than most of the rest of the world who sees them as dumb aquatic food.
 
That one was hard to watch. As fishkeepers, I find we put ourselves in their "shoes" and I couldn't imagine going through all of that.
