fresh HOT chili red aro pix

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's one nice HOT ARO.

Thanks, guys!

Tim, as it turns out the sand is not pure black. It's more like a slate gray flecked with black.:irked: It is much darker though so we'll see after a couple of weeks.

No one in town carries tahitian moon and I'm not going to bring in a small amount as the shipping will make it not worthwhile, in my books. I may just go with tile after all.

Nice development, bro. My red is similar to yours in terms of development...<sigh> .... not yet red though

I got a few bags of tahitian moon off Ewing a few years back. He still brings in their course natural sand mix. Unfortunatly I gave away 3 bags worth because it was way to sharp for my rays.

Whats the brand you've got in? I've pm'd Lance to see if I can get some to darken up my tank.

I'm using the Hagen geo systems something or other brand. I got it from Lance in the first place. The tahitian moon stuff has mixed reviews for rays, but the ray is only in that tank until she puts some size on then she's going back into the 360 with the male.

I'll more than likely just wait until she is moved back then I'll go with a black gravel. Lots of that around. :)
