my aros been eating frozen shrimp for over a year. it usually thaws quick enough while he swims around with it in his mouth for a few seconds.

I have to agre with Ethnics ( knowing of course that unthawed food is not ideal . Not all Aro's dive. my blacks chase food untill the middle of the water column..if they don't get the food by that time they come up empty handed. My silvers are diving now, but it took more than a year for them to be proficient divers, because it is not only diving, it is the sideways motion and grabbing that they have to do while in the bottom..

Slightly unthawed food floats..And if the pieces are not bvery small they will cary them around in their pelican mouths and the food will unthaw..

This is how i do it.

I usually have to distract mine so the other fish get something to eat every once in a while.
