There are quite a few fish that can live in fresh and salt water - mollies, some cichlids (tilapia, Mayans....) and also quite a few that are born in fresh and migrate through brackish and end up as adults in the sea - scats, monos....

Bull Sharks are usually born in the sea, and usually stay in the sea, but they can live in fresh and commonly swim up rivers. They are found 1000 miles up the Amazon, and also commonly in Australian Rivers.

Zambezi Sharks are known to swim up African Rivers.
Zambezi Sharks are Bull Sharks, it's just what they are called in cetain parts of the world.

Yep, bulls can do very well in freshwater... as posted many are found up the Amazon, Mississippi and a few Aussie river systems. When we collected the bulls for Dallas World Aq and a few other facilities in the US, we caught them at a river mouth, leaving freshwater and heading out to open ocean.

Nothing to freak out over. More people die from ball point pens than sharks every year.

You're also more likely to be struck by lightning twice than attacked by a shark.

Or die from...
Being burried in sand at the beach
Falling coconuts
Air conditioner falling on you
Garage door shutting on you
Bee stings
Choking on food
Vending machine tipping over on you
Cattle stampede

You get the idea. :D
Sharks killing people is taken WAY over board due to the nature of the attacks.

12-14 ft bulls have been recorded in the Caribean around Cuba. On average, the adult females are usually 10 ft animals.
