Freshwater Moray (gymnothorax polyuranodon)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd be careful saying stuff like that about morays lol they can squeeze through impossibly tiny gaps. Also they're quite strong so I'd weigh that down with something heavy.
The part has a little excess and snaps in there very tight, so it can't be easy liftet.
The remaining gap is smaller than the slots where the water runs through... if it gets through this, i can't stop it from getting into the sump...
But i think for now, this is enough :)

Today i made a little feeding-video of the moray... not the best quality, but better than nothing.
I'll try to make a better one these days.

At the moment she's eating 1 - 1,5 smelts every other day.
Is this a good amount?

She looks ace
I got another 3 weeks ago after mine had disappeared from the sump. Great creatures and my new one is in a tank with no sump

You can see their eyesight deficiencies when feeding with tongues, they have to smell or taste the food

How bigs yours she looks a decent size?

Thanks !
The size is hard to tell... maybe about 20".
But she has a good appetite... so i think she'll grow fast :)
