Seems like all Australian fish are called barramundi, cod, or gudgeon. :P In Bill Bryson's book "In a Sunburned Country," he pokes fun at Australian place names, paying particular attention to a town called Tittybong! :o

Too true...I think barramundi means large scale or somthing...I dont know, im not Aboriginal :confused:

how do I get a freshwater panther grouper? Just acclimate a salt water one?
 
I'm gonna get one and try to acclimatise in freshwater. I had my bumble bee grouper in freshwater for more than two months now and its growing fast and eating strong. :D
