Where are you in the peoples republic jcar? I used to live up in Grass Valley but moved back to Indiana a couple of years ago. The first time I was able to go in a store and walk out fifteen minutes later with a new gun, I knew I was home.

I bought a book stand once and my mom came up to me and said why am I using her sock holder for her dryer? It turns out they are exactly the same thing probably from the same manufacturer but are used for different things and marketed differently.

My father-in-law is a denturist and he uses this tool that looks like a long pick with a flat spoon like head on one side and it costs about $100. I saw the exact same thing in a craft store for $5. He agreed they were the same thing.

Why wouldn't a LFS sell other salts if they were the same? Well lets see, they can sell you a big bag for $5 that will last you forever or a small carton for the same price that will last you a few weeks. Hmmmm....

I agree, used to work at LFS. That is just logical business decisions. Marketing smaller more use specific items -vs- bulk. I had a question, what kind of filtration should i use on a 220G with arowana, midas, FH, JD???
