Freshwater "Shark"-type Fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Something like that yes. They are hard to find anyway, which is good because irresponsible **** like me would buy them left and right. If you get that tank together I will donate mine to you. I'm done with asian catfish after these guys.

o well i am yet to go through college so by the time i build a monster tank for monster fish, your catfish will probably be long gone. but my plan is to start my own business that is all about fish keeping and we would have tanks that if peoples fish grow to large then they can drop them off with me or i will buy them cheap and i will try to sell them out to someone with a tank large enough to keep them properly in a large enough tank for their whole life. but i would have a display tank where people could feed the fish and i would inform people about the fish. it will take a long time for me to do that though. start out small first.

hey how big is your pleco?

where the heck are you people getting these paroons and IDs.....
ive got 3 IDs that are around 2 years old.. the biggest one is MAYBE coming up on 8"...
i got a paroon at around 5" over a year ago.. it was MAYBE 7" when i got rid of it...

all of them eat anything and everything and are never hungry for more.. all they do is knock themselves out and crap...

Yo Ryan that idea you got is excellent, best of luck with that man. If you were asking about my Pleco, it's around 5-6in. Never see the thing though. He lives in my driftwood and only makes an appearance during water changes when his house comes out. Also, I got my Paroon from hghlndr85 a few months ago and I think he's still trying to get rid of the other one he has if anyone is looking for one in Pennsylvania or near by. You may want to Pm him to see if it's still available. Either way I hope you end up fulfilling the dream buddy, it's a very noble and useful idea.

thanks. about how old is your pleco and how long have you had him for?

I forget how old he is and how long I have had him. I would guess around a year. He was super small when I bought him, probably under 2 inches.
