I was just talking about that the other day with a friend, I mean we have dairy farms out here, but no milk deliveries.

Stores currently going out of business: true value, toys r us,gordmans, I'm sure there r more.

I blame Walmart....one stop source of cheap goods.
When I was a kid there were men who drove around the neighborhoods selling fish that they'd caught.They would gut and scale em right in their vans.

Smaller Mom and pop stores have a hard time competing with giant colossal businesses.

Yes they were....trout,catfish,porgies and other types.Saturday and Sunday we could hear their bullhorns early in the morning...."fish man fish man,get your fresh fish right here!"

I don't think I have either....for some reason my mom never bought any of them.

I've also thought of setting up a fish farm in a greenhouse when I get some dough rolling in besides raising stockery and exotic fish I would raise food fish like black pacu, wels catfish,tilapia and bluegill, I would grow fruits in the greenhouse as well to feed to the pacu, this would give them a sweeter taste

wels are illegal in the US and tilapia in most states, but otherwise, really cool.

They had some program to help rehabilitate drug addicts here by setting them up with a shine box and giving them a patch to work. It seemed to work well but it's been stopped for so,e reason.
