Mine wld have to be a goldfish I had back when I was 5.

Goldfish I used to keep in an outdoor pond. I didn't even have to net them, they happily swam into my hands. Oh and that's plural goldfish.

That thing was like a puppy dog. Paid no attention to the other fish, in fact he would constantly bump into them like they weren't there. Begged for food too.

My female Jag, she will follow me to whatever side of the tank I am on. When it is feeding time she won't eat the food off the bottom, she waits for me to drop the pellets one by one for her to chase and eat.

I have a 28" female chagoi. (koi) She a beast and always is the first to greet me in the morning. Such a great personality.

My Jack does the same, and he gets excited when ever I'm near the Guppy tank.

I once had a electric catfish, I could feed him by hand, anyone else that tried to feed him would get zapped. If i put my hand in the tank he wouldswim threw my fingers like it was a game. Coolest fish i ever had.

I have a few fish with tons of personality... My friendliest fish i've ever had is either my adult male Angelfish or my Green Severum. Both are very intuned as to where I am at all times, and will, as Cam said, beg for food. If they see me looking at the tank, they'll start twisting their bodies back and forth almost like a dog wags it's tail. It's pretty funny.


My little laetacara dwarf cichlid is starting to develope a neat little personality.

My desjardinii tang (saltwater) is very friendly. He'd let me pet him like a dog.
