a 12 inch tiger oscar. if my hand was in the tank he would swim right uo to it, it died at the age of 4 years after i rescued him from a really and i mean really bad pet shop. when he died it took my 3 years just to keep fish again

R.I.P Oscar (he was named after my dog) :asainarow :shark: :stingray:

I have a foot long Rosequeen that I recently picked off my garage floor since he decided he like the concrete better than water. He made it ok but SOB still wants to bite me after I rescue his arse. Ungrateful BLEEP!!!So much for being friendly :)

Oscars ftw!!!
Im gonna have to go with this guy, he is still my first tropical fish and has been like any other domestic animal with me patting and hand feeding him. He sits under the flow of new water after a WC, mouth fights me, and the two times i've had to move him hes been a treat!

red devil suprisingly, i purchased a guy from the lfs a couple months back. great looking pre owned 10" specimen. super aggresive when i went up to the tank so i had to have him. got it home and after quarintine introduced it to my 7" female. they got along fine for 3 days then he started picking on her so i seperated them. was cleaning his tank last month and was prepared for a nip or 2 as most my fish do when disturbing them but he came up and started rubbing up against my hand and a little tail whipping. thought it was pretty strange so let him go and it let me pat it and stroke its hump. now it eats from my hand and is the coolest pre owned fish ive ever had. i still cant beleive someone invested that sort of time in a fish, taming it and then traded it in. will post picks when i find my camera.

My female Jag, she will follow me to whatever side of the tank I am on. When it is feeding time she won't eat the food off the bottom, she waits for me to drop the pellets one by one for her to chase and eat.

My Oscar is just like this, he wont touch anything that sinks untill I walk away, and he is super sweet when I hand feed him, he every so gentley takes it from me.

Yea until he turn on you that is. My Rosequeen pulled the same dirty trick and bit me like my hands are filet mignon. He had me fooled with all the tender and caressing. He let me pet him and he would rub against me...It's almost like he set me up and wham!!! get me when i least suspected.

My weather loaches <333

And my 9" Columbian shark, HE pets ME when I do tank maintenance :D
