WOOOh thats damn cool!!!, i got a question 4 u, i dont get african frogs but i can buy albino african frogs, and i can catch frogs of any size here at night easily, but i wanted to know if the albino african frogs have something bad for my green terrors, and also the south american swamp frog that is the one i catch, ohh and also i give them wild lizard that are also very common, are they bad to give them as food, i use to give this to my last pair of oscars, but do they affect gt??? i dont think cause theyre wild too and they eat that in nature i guess, but anyway, can you answer me the questions:)

Love the pics, awesome pics and fish!

These big predatory fish eat frogs and lizards in nature, so it shouldn't be a problem. I can't help you with the specific frogs you mentioned, as I'm on the other side of the world, but I'm sure you would be able to find out all the answers to those questions here...

Good luck, and post some pics of the action! :D

P.s. Aren't GTs too small to eat frogs/lizards?

Thanks thats a very useful web, i already know it.about the gts, i have wild ones, males get up to 45cm and females 35cm, im not lying, theres a type of association in the other side of the river shore, that have native fish of the river, they have a pair of white saum(male 44cm and female 33cm) 14years old since they were caught at 6cm, a pair of gold saum(male 45cm and female 35cm) they are 16years old, male at 8cm and female at 5cm, pair of red terror (male 55cm and female 40cm) 13years old since caught, male at 4cm and female 7cm. and lots of enormous plecs, 2meters RTC or bagre as they call them here, variety of aequidens, guppies, and other fish.

Sorry cant take pics of them, cams are not allowed in the reservation room of the fishies:( . But i really dont want my whitesaum pair to get that big.

Ps. Carlos say that they grow that big cause the guayas river like many rivers in the coast region of Ecuador have manglares that are big air trees that grow over mud at river shores where crabbies live and they produce an special component that give vitality and proteins and other weird named stuff to fish when they are fries (all fish of the river go to the "manglares" that are all over the river shores to spawn under the mud and roots, the crabbies are in danger cause they try to eat the eggs but the parents of the eggs eat them if they come out.)

Thanks bro! :D

I also feed them mealworms, crickets, live shrimps, shrimp (prawn), floating and sinking pellets and fish fillets.

The tank is 6.5x2x2' and has a variety of fish in it. I'm not gonna list them all as some bros might wanna get into a row with me cos they think the tank is inappropriately stocked... ;)

... but I do love and care for my fish as best as I can and haven't lost a fish in my monster tank in over a year :D
