I bought a small frog/toad at the lfs because they had it in a tank with no land area and i didnt want it to die. It's pretty small, about the size of a dime. Can anyone tell me if its a frog or a toad and possibly what species it is?

Sorry about the pics, ill try to get some better ones later.

Frog possibly a Leopard Frog

yeah its a frog because
1 toads dont have slimy skin
2 frogs have longer more powerful legs
3 lastly toads usually dont have the same webbed feet
but there are exceptions to all these guidelines

 dont look into its eyes!!!!! lol

my dad seems to think he's a toad because he hops rather than jumps...

also, he looks "slimy" in the pic because he's wet, i scared him out of the water to take the pic.

It also looks that he just recently underwent metamorphosis, as he still had the stub from the tail left when i bought him on friday.

Im assuming he's related to the tadpoles he was being kept with, they were light green/light brown with small black spots all over, about 1.5-2" long, if that help anyone identify him.
