Who knows what the frog's been inside. You can do so if you want to, but I'm just going to say the risks of feeding a parasite or disease rich frog is pretty high, especially near urban areas.

you would know what it has been inside as you collect it...obvously you wouldn't go collecting by a power plant or a rancid pond/ditch...frogs don't travel for long distances to anywere...if you would eat the fish from a lake then the frogs are fine from that lake aswell...

I wouldn't recommend frogs as they can carry diseases, but if you do, make sure its from a good source. DO NOT use frogs from a local creek, river, etc.

That makes no sense at all. How would you know whats been inside the frogs? So we can all see internal parasites and parasitic worms of all sorts now? I don't expect an average joe to be running around carrying some high tech contaminant test kits to test the area for possible harmful substances before catching frogs. Not everything can be seen with the naked eye you know...

if you read what you wrote it would make sense...if you stated what the frogs has eatten that is contaminated or something then it wouldn't make sense...if it is a clean sorce then there really shouldn't be much for parasitic things to worry about...if you don't want to feed them cool then don't...i am just saying that they are not as bad as everyone says...if someone is realy worried about parasites then they could just use frozen frogs legs to add them to the diet...me...i am not to worried about parasites getting to and killing my aro...i have feed many many frogs to my fish and i have never had any issuses...like i said before if it looks heathy the chance for parasites is minimal...an internal parasite can't be seen with the naked eye, but the effects it would cause to the animal can be seen...
