Balton what do you feed yours ???

i had some a year or so ago and when they would get in to the cichlid pellets they always seemed to get bloat :(

and no it will not be drilled.

also i will be moving the filtraton off of the 125 to the new tank. that is 1 FX5, 1 XP3 and 2 Emp 400. so i will be fine on the filtration.

mine's a 240 tall its 72x24x31 tall... i love the tank would love it more if it was shorter but wider but hey it was a deal!!...the way you are filtering it isn't that great.... you should get a 60 gallon wetdry like me but rule of thumb is 1/3 the size of the tank so about an 80 gallon wet dry... you need the water to flip about 5-7 times so you should get something that pumps 2400 gph cause of the head height will bring that 2400 gallon pump to about 1800 gph.... and you will save on electricity because your not using 4 different filters...

and my tank isn't drilled as well :( but it was a deal i traded my 125 gallon complete set up +400 bucks for it

also use scrubbie pads not bio balls more surface area for your money!! if you need any more advice just pm me

I would add some festivums, like 4. Otherwise agree with japes, more cories and pleco.

Anyone know if mixed cories will school? Like say you had 2-4 each of greens, julii, panda...would they still school up like a group of just a dozen julii would?
