When I housed fish that fought and beat each other up, my stress levels went up. But keeping happy pappy fish like I do is not for everyone. I just can't tolerate the stress.
I think they mean being that aquariums are said to be a stress reliever. Which is the main reason I started this hobby

this has never played a part in it for me. I keep the fish because I find them interesting. it doesn't matter the size or temperament as much as the personality.
yes. It is one of the reasons i've kept fish for 30 plus years. It helps me cope.
The best thing I ever did was stop with the cichlids. I have aggressive fish, but one per tank. Two lungs and a Fahaka. The jury is out on what my Leicherdti will turn into.

Would you still be willing to house angels and rams??They are relatively peaceful except angel might get neon tetra sized fish....
