Yeah, when I do feed live its mostly earthworms and ghost shrimpI find most live foods to be too much of a hassle and more trouble than it is worth,probably the only live that I don't mind using is earthworms and the like.
Absolutely,you can't go wrong with a varied diet to cover as many nutritional bases as possible.

LOLi fed my fish some salmon caviar around christmas and they went berserk. seemed to really enjoy it. if i had the money for it I'd consider it for a weekly treat. i dont get enough of it myself though lol.
What did you hear about Hikari that scared you away from it? I use a lot of Hikari foods and now I'm curious. Please shareDecided to throw in a bucket of the NLS large fish formula and the Northfin cichlid formula. Heard about some of the Hikari products but I'm too scared to feed it based on my studying on this forum lol
