But you should quarantine the fish first before pitting him whit your turt;) As for your first question, the claws depends on the turt. Black musk have very stong but not sharp claws. My chinese softy has claws that would be more or less the same that yours. Ive been thinking about this and I think you should be ok regarding the claws thing at least for now. The normal swming action of frt doesant put a lot of abrasion on the substrate. They glide more than walk. I think you are safe. It will take many years untill the casual passing leave any damage (if they cause damage at all).

the dat seems to be going uop to the turt but doesnt do anything...u think i can keep the 2 frt's together? or should i leave them separated as is.. i think the dat will cause less territorial response from the turts??

300gal is a dream tank, but if i did get a 300gal i would want it to be something like 7x3x2 lol

Perhaps thats the fuction of diter fish:D Get a school of rainbow fish, congo tetras or giant danios. quarentine them and put them with your turts. Before your turts are big enogf to eat them the fish will be already gone out of old age;) By the way what are you feeding your turts?
