Substrate is crushed oyster shell and aragonite. I also have rift lake salt (calcium chloride) and some sea mix in their water. Cuttlebone and turtle calcium/sulfa blocks are in the sump.

Please educate me on the use of cuttle bone, you are saying that simply having it in the water that the FRT will absorb it?

They can absorb it if either receiving vitamin D3 from sunlight or in food supplements.
