FRT's and Rays

I have 2 FRTs and 3 rays in the same tank
The FRTs are both around 8-9 inches in shell length
The rays were kept from 3" pups, now one is about 10", another 9" and the smallest one is about 5" (They were all bought at different times)

No problems so far. My FRTS are only interested in Hikari Algae Wafers for some reason and they are very lazy. In fact I'm starving them for a few days each time now because they are getting fat from inactivity

I think, given everyone's input, we can safely say it depends on the turtle...I for one have had enough expensive fish murderized by mine to risk anymore lol.

I might give this combination a try soon. I'm also a bit worried about the 30" silver aro giving the 5" FRT a go--aside from the issues with the ray. I have asked a number of other local hobbyists with FRTs and theirs have been reported to be very docile. The seller of the FRT also reported that he was with a ray for 6 months without any problems.

We would love some pictures of your set up. Some questions:

-How long have you had this set up?
-Would you care to give us more details about it, have you ever had a problem with the set up? No incidents?
-What do they all eat?
-What size tank do you have?

I just got a 6" FRT yesterday. Dumped it in my pond, 13" gourami is giving it some trouble, the ray 8" and him are just looking at each other when they meet.

Thank God the silvers didn't chomp down on it when I released it at first, that was my biggest fear.

LOL sorry. I have had the frt for about 2 months now. There is a 12: tiger, 7" yepezi, 2 6" pearls, 9" henlei, 7" flower, 14" ID shark, 5" tig and 3 4" motoros. had 2 marbles and a motoro, but they sold recently. I also just added a 6-7" gar. They're in a 300 gallon tank. The tanks is meant to hold some of my stock so fish are changing often once they're qted. I have yet to notice a single issue. The rays eat what rays eat. The FRT eats pretty much everything. Pellets, Waffers, black worms, bananas, night crawlers etc. He even ate a ton of ghost shrimp today. He's def a pig. Anytime anyone comes in to the room he's always swims up to them. I did add a uv light to the side of the tank for him as well. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Definitely part and parcel of MFK Netiquette to accompany enumerations of just a jaw dropping stock list with pictures. Otherwise --> hehe
