Yes they did grow fast but not as fast as those cb congi/endli.But even his weeksii and ornate grew in fast pace.
Here's a few I took last October. I haven't taken any since then but they look pretty much the same.I dont remember how long it took mine to hit the 4 inch mark but since then its almost unnoticeable.

Ansorgii are one of the slowest grower in the LJ species.My fastest grower is the cb ornate, growing from 2.5" to about 12" in a year. Both of my cb teugs are close seconds.
My slowest by far is the ansorgii. It grew a few inches in the 6 months I've had it and hasn't grown since.
Even though it was sold as a pure ansorgii, I'm almost positive it's actually an ansorgii x endli hybrid since it's definitely cb as it was about 2" when purchasedAnsorgii are one of the slowest grower in the LJ species.
