The thing is cb bichirs always have a big appetite from my experience. They literally eat til they explode. WC are different in that sense.

Yes they did grow fast but not as fast as those cb congi/endli.

I dont remember how long it took mine to hit the 4 inch mark but since then its almost unnoticeable.

My fastest grower is the cb ornate, growing from 2.5" to about 12" in a year. Both of my cb teugs are close seconds.

My slowest by far is the ansorgii. It grew a few inches in the 6 months I've had it and hasn't grown since.

I think my teugwas one of the fastest growers. Went from 9 to 16ish in what feels like a blink of an eye

Even though it was sold as a pure ansorgii, I'm almost positive it's actually an ansorgii x endli hybrid since it's definitely cb as it was about 2" when purchased

I couldnt imagine how impressive those truly monster congicus or ansorgii would look like in person
