I'm not the smartest guy but if he was asking $1900 and your "friend" offered him $800....... I wouldn't call him back either. It's a matter of principle and lowballers do not deserve a reply.

I guess the seller didn't like you, or else he will take the first offer at $1400. Amazing deal... 300>1400/800
